Problem
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.Marriott’s Homes and Villas struggled to compete against emerging home-sharing platforms such as Airbnb, which provided users with more flexible, personalized options. The Marriott platform was functional but lacked the user-friendly features and design that home-sharing users were beginning to expect. Marriott needed a more compelling, intuitive interface to stay competitive and relevant.
-
Solution
The solution was a complete UX redesign of the Homes and Villas web app, focusing on enhancing the user journey and interaction. I contributed by:
Conducting market analysis to identify trends and competitor features.
Designing user-friendly interfaces, including low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes, ensuring a clean visual hierarchy.
Implementing features such as personalized destination filters, seamless booking processes, and visually engaging property listings, keeping usability and aesthetic appeal in mind.
Responsive design was a priority, ensuring the platform was accessible across devices and browsers.
